General Description:

  • Tyres feature a round cross-section and flat longitudinal tread for consistent impact characteristics.

  • Each tyre is mounted on a rim attached to steel masses of equal weight.

  • Total impactor mass: 50 ± 0.1 kg.

  • Designed to simulate impacts in automotive and safety testing environments.

Method of Manufacture:

  • Constructed using steel (density: 7,830 kg/m³).

  • Precision-engineered as per design guidelines .

  • Balanced design ensures accurate and repeatable impact force delivery.

Maintenance Guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Remove any embedded glass or debris from tyre surface after each use.

  • Inspection: Monitor tyre condition; replace tyres if damaged or worn.
